Besides being able to choose individual finished cuts, we offer the option of buying a whole, half, or quarter beef. Not all animals will yield the same quantity of beef, so we have standardized the bulk options with a whole beef being 350# of finished cuts. We don’t include any organ meats or bones in the bulk options except the bones in the chuck roast and arm roast, so that’s a lot of meat.

You have the option of picking up your beef at the ranch or you can opt to pay $25 per box to have it shipped to your door. Our boxes have 2” thick super insulation and include 8 gel cold packs which will keep the beef frozen for up to 5 days on the road.

As with all of our shipments, each box includes a prepaid return shipping label that enables you to return the box to us without having to dispose of it in the garbage. We can rewrap and reuse the insulation and rebag and refreeze the cold packs.

A small quarter beef (75# total) will include approximately 38# (33 packs) of ground beef, 22# roasts & stew meats (approximately 3 bone-in roasts, 2 boneless roasts, 2 stew meats), 15# boneless steaks (approximately 2 double packs each of rib-eyes, NYs, and sirloins). Actual numbers are subject to the actual weight of our individual roasts and steaks. The weight ratio of cuts is determined by the average yield of 50% ground beef, 30% roasts and stew meat, 20% steaks. If we are shipping a small quarter beef to you, it would take 3 boxes. You will need 2.6 cubic foot freezer space for storage.

A large quarter beef (100# total) will include approximately 50# (44 packs) of ground beef, 30# roasts & stew meats (approximately 3 bone-in roasts, 2 boneless roasts, 2 stew meats, 1 tri-tip roast, 1/2 brisket), 20# boneless steaks ( approximately 2 double packs each of rib-eyes, NYs, sirloins, 1 flank steak, 2 skirt steaks). Actual numbers are subject to the actual weight of our individual roasts and steaks. The weight ratio of cuts is determined by the average yield of 50% ground beef, 30% roasts, 20% steaks. If we are shipping a large quarter beef to you, it would take 4 boxes. You will need 3.5 cubic foot freezer space for storage.

A half beef (175# total) will include approximately 88# (75 packs) of ground beef, 52# roasts & stew meats (approximately 4 bone-in roasts, 3 boneless roasts, 4 stew meats, 1 tri-tip, 1 whole brisket), 35# boneless steaks (approximately 5 double packs each of rib-eyes, NYs, sirloins, 1 flank steak, 4 skirt steaks). Actual numbers are subject to the actual weight of our individual roasts and steaks. The weight ratio of cuts is determined by the average yield of 50% ground beef, 30% roasts, 20% steaks. If we are shipping a half beef to you, it would take 7 boxes. You will need 7 cubic foot freezer space for storage.

A whole beef (350# total) will include approximately 175# (150 packs) of ground beef, 105# roasts & stew meats (approximately 7 bone-in roasts, 6 boneless roasts, 8 stew meats, 2 tri-tips, 2 whole briskets), 70# boneless steaks (approximately 10 double packs each of rib-eyes, NYs, sirloins, 2 flank steaks, 8 skirt steaks). Actual numbers are subject to the actual weight of our individual roasts and steaks. The weight ratio of cuts is determined by the average yield of 50% ground beef, 30% roasts, 20% steaks. If we are shipping a whole beef to you, it would take 14 boxes. You will need a 14 cubic foot freezer space for storage.
